⏰ BEST TIME TO TRAVEL – Avoid July to September at all costs! Best season is May-June. It may rain on some days but hotels are way cheaper. And enjoying rain in the mountains is also an experience.

✈️ FLIGHT – Search on @kiwicom247, you will find the cheapest flight to Zurich with a layover in Istanbul even for Rs.17000. Also, booking your flights in advance as soon as you plan is going to be really helpful.

🥗 FOOD – Ofcouse it’s a vacation so eating every meal at home is not fun. The ideal thing to do would be, prepare quick breakfast at home, grab on the go lunch from @coop.ch or @migros and enjoy a sit down dinner for mid range restaurant. Coop and Migros also have quite a few Indian food options. Just need to add hot water.

🚄🚠 TRANSPORT – If you are a family with kids, SWISS TRAVEL PASS is your best bet. But, if you are a couple or family with adults, HALF FARE CARD can be better option than the SWISS PASS. It gives your 50% on almost all modes of transport and activities. Also, in most Swiss cities you will get a guest card from you hotel/stay which gives you access to FREE public transport in the city.
